History

In the 2008–09 season the team won its first 20 matches and thus secured playing the promotion play-offs six days before end of the season.[1] The teams the won the last six games of the season to finish with a perfect 26 wins in 26 matches.[2] In the promotion play-offs the team won its first match 4–1 against Oiartzun KE,[3] and then followed it up with a 1–0 win against Tacuense.[4] The team thereby became the first balearic women's team to play the top level league.[5] In the 2009–10 season the team finished 5th in the regional group stage and the 2nd in the national group C.[6] In 2010–11 the team placed 6th in the regional league stage and the 2nd in the national Group C.[7]

With the league reform for the 2011–12 season, that is moving from a groups format to a double round-robin and decreasing participation from 24 teams to 18, the team earned themselves a spot in the 2011–12 Primera División (women).

For the national cup Copa de la Reina the team qualified in 2009 and 2010, but lost their entry games in the round of 16 twice. Being a two legged match Collerense were able to beat Barcelona in the first leg but lost higher in the return leg.[8] In 2011 the team was beaten twice in the round of 16 by Athletico Madrid.[9]

The reserves team, Collerense B Femenino were relegated into the third tier Liga Autonómica Femenina in 2010–11 and will play third level football in 2011–12.[10]
